Sylvia Smith Gallery This art gallery is also a studio where she can be found daily working on her evocative watercolour paintings reflecting the beauty and peace of her surroundings. She has given other artists the opportunity to demonstrate their skills here. A variety of pottery, sculpture and handwork are also on display, including the magnificent quilting of Helen Granville to inspire or tempt the viewer to acquire an heirloom. Sylvia�s love for art and compassion for people has allowed her to really appreciate her surroundings, which truly reflect in her work. Sylvia was formerly an architect so she has had many commissions to do paintings of clients homes and of course the lovely surroundings in Hermanus and Overberg.
